FACE THE CHANGES
Subcultures are the clear expression of a break with a conformist society. In past decades the different subcultures manifested their identity on the street and were therefore visible to everyone. Living in a hybrid world, these clear expressions disappear. Generation Z tries to blend in, using elements from different subcultures. It’s as if they moved around a supermarket taking skinhead shoes, mod jackets, punk hair and raver behavior. We thus find ourselves faced with shapes that are not directly recognisable, in an increasingly fluid world.
