TIME TO PRETEND

We are in a world of revolt and social tensions for Italy. Young people take control and decide how to dress, also as a political act of breaking with current Italian society, dominated by a bigoted and respectable mentality. Trying to clear a style that wanted the sexy, emancipated and free woman, young people take a stand and with the naturalness with which they relate, they transform these new taboos into something explicitly mainstream and deliver them to everyone like a hurricane of unexpected revelation. They recognize that fashion can convey messages, including social ones, and that it can be one of the most effective means of showing oneself to the world. The woman takes a stand, is confident, and is finally more relaxed and sensual. Young people become the driving force of a new national-popular trend. Through provocative shots the aim is to shake up the system and push the public to rethink the roles, relationships and power dynamics that are taken for granted.
